i don't think we can ask them if they are just the limbs, but we can never say never if we've never tried before. maybe one of them can still write.

but if they are still feisty, even after being severed and buried, perhaps that will remain after we change them. the idea of the gnomes moving to random places throughout the day sounds entertaining and terrifying to anyone who isn't suspecting.
